LAST WEEK:-(

Hello everyone!! I can't believe we are in the last week already!! It has all passed by so fast to me!  I want to just say again that I have enjoyed this class and having such a wonderful professor and classmates!  Everyone I wish you all the best in your future goals and achievements and I know that you all will do well :-)  I have learned so much, I just hope I can keep all this new information stored in brain!!Lol  I  would also like to say that this blog has been very fun and a somewhat new experience for me.... I may even continue to write because it really helps to share your thoughts for the day and express yourself in a creative way!!  Thank you again professor, you have made this class a fun learning environment while helping us explore different writing techniques and ideas.  Also, it has been great to have such a great group of peers to learn with and from and it has been a joy to meet you all!! :-) Everyone good luck in your futures and have a blessed day! :-) Mitzi

Happy Valentines Day!!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a Happy Valentines Day and enjoyed spending time with family and loved ones!! One week left to go, and I'm sure everyone did an excellent job with their papers!! I have learned so much throughout the course of this class and enjoyed getting to know you all :-)  APA format is now ingrained in my head!!lol :-) Anyway this term has been the hardest for me and I am just glad to still be in class getting closer to my degree! I can say I have learned from my experiences and I hope next term goes a little more smoothly for me! I guess that's just life and as problems arise you have to try to find a way around them!! Live, Love, Learn....

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is well and doing good! I can't believe this semester has passed by so fast! Just a few more weeks left and we continue on our journey hear at Kaplan!! I am still working on my paper it has been on my mind constantly!! I will be glad to finish it because it will be a big accomplishment for me! I have always been nervous when it comes to writing research papers, but this class has taught me a lot that I will take with me into the future.  It seems like this term I have had many obstacles to overcome but having a good support system has really helped :-) Ohh I just wanted to add that my niece who is 14 months old really put a smile on my face today... I was on the phone with my sister and she said Heyyyyy Cat... it was really cute cause my sister just got a cat a few weeks ago and it was the first time she said the word cat!!:-) Anyway hope everyone has a great week and blessed day!!:-)  mitzi

Writer's Block....:-)

Hello again everyone and hope all are doing well! This is the week to turn in our post draft papers and I am having major writer's block! I keep going in circles it seems!! I think it will help for me to take a few moments of meditation and focus on relaxation to help get past it. Even though it is so hard to feel relaxed when my paper is not finished!!Lol :-) Anyway I want to say that it seems everyone has some great outlines for their papers and I know we will all do well! Hello Again!!!

This week I have been thinking about how school has touched my life and what influence it has had on me up to this point. I can truly say when I look back to before I started back to school, I didn't see myself coming this far and the impact it would have on me.  I feel as though I can accomplish anything I set out to do and I am excited about my future because I have something to look forward to! I am proud of all my classmates for their hard work and efforts as well.  I have met life long friends through Kaplan and I am proud to be a part of it! :-) Hope everyone has a blessed day!! Mitzi

Happy New Year to Everyone!!

Hello everyone!! I hope everyone had a great holiday break!! :-) I have been trying to get over the flu which I have had for the last week or so!! It is so not fun being sick but I feel much better now.  We were talking about plagiarism this week in class so I thought I would discuss that this week.  I know it is important to give credit to others when using their ideas because I know if it was my ideas being used I would want to get the credit for my work.  Plagiarism is a very serious thing but sometimes it can be confusing on how to correctly use in-text citations, but I have found the guide for APA format to be very helpful.  I hope everyone is having much success with their papers and a wonderful week!!
